App Review

A very good morning to everyone out there! Of late, I have been very addicted to this new game released on the iTunes app store.

SUPER JUNIOR SHAKE!!!

*cue dancing and cheering*

It's basically a music game very much like Tap Tap Revenge or Tap Sonic except it comes with Super Junior songs. For an ELF like me, this is the epitome of awesomeness! Besides there are 2 modes you can play in. The normal taptap mode.

Or the shake mode. You don't actually get to shake your iphone/ipad a lot as the name seems to mention, but you get to spin a disc very much like a dj!

I prefer the tap mode though. Spinning makes my thumbs go a little numb after a while. What I also like about this app is that besides the increasing of speed and difficulty, they have 2 other different modes Hidden and Mirror. Using these 2 modes you ge to attain a higher score. With the Hidden mode part of the screen gets hidden so you have to time your movements according and Mirror which I found super challenging was you had to mirror the notes as they come down. My brain still cannot coordinate to that yet sadly. :(

With these being a Super Junior app thingy, they have kindly added more nuggets for us hardcore ELFS. With each completion of song you get awarded SJ cards to collect. SJ cards can be used when playing the games or combined to form new cards. According to them, these are never seen before, never released Super Junior photos. The downside is, you have to make some sort of purchase (songs or cards) before you can actually go some collecting.

Alright, so go download the game all you ELFS out there. Not willing to spend money, they do provide 2 songs for free! :D Have fun y'all!

Flashmob in Sweden

Hello everyone!

Our friends over in Sweden sent us a video of them doing a Flash Mob!



Do check it out, it really looks quite fun! Love the selection of songs and the enthusiasm! and it's quite a pretty big crowd. And it's the awesome land of Sweden. Imagine having Kpop inspired IKEA furniture, or KPOP inspired H&M clothes. :D OMGOSH. Hopefully it will inspire more people from the rest of the globe to show your support for Kpop!

Thanks to this video, I've started youtubing other kpop flashmobs around the world, you know how addictive youtube can be. And I've seen videos from all around the world, Peru, Australia, Prague, Germany and the list goes on. Some people do it for a special cause (ie, SM TOWN in PARIS) or some just to spread the love and show their support. Whatever it is, their efforts are commendable.

As a Kpop fan, I'm just really happy that Kpop is starting to spread all around the world. On tumblr and stuff, I've seen confessions about people being ashamed of liking Kpop of being bashed for it. So what if Korean Pop happens to be an Asian product, we should not be afraid to share good music, oogle at handsome guys and enjoy their infectious dance moves. Not only the good music, but Kpop has helped me through some of the hardest times in my life.

What is awesome about Kpop and these celebrities, is that you can see the hard work and effort they put into each and every performance, their genuine heartfelt thanks to their fans, their humble demeanor despite their star status, and on top of all that, the ability to still be dorky and adorable. Watching their shows and performances cheer me up and motivate me to work harder.

I can say we here at Super-Kpop are proud to be part of this amazing fandom.

While most of their songs revolve around love, boyfriends, oppas and yadayaada, this song absolutely resonates with a person like me.

The song name is LAZY GIRL. Totally fits. And it sounds really great.

Is Orange Caramel going international or what? First Bangkok City and now Shanghai Romance!

I really dig this song! So catchy! Orange Caramel is really a genius idea. While I usually see no point in subgroups I really like Orange Caramel, the more cutesy version of After School. Plus it has my favourite Playgirls Nana and Lizzy in it. :D

What I do not like, is the short hair wigs. No short hair for me puhlease.
